One assessment, two prizes.
กระบวนการรับรองนิติกรณ์เอกสาร Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores your company 0–100 against your industry peers. That score decides two things: your place in S&P’s Sustainability Yearbook, and your inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices — the index family renamed from the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in 2025.
| Recognition | How it’s earned |
|---|---|
| Best-in-Class World Index | Top ~10% by CSA score among the largest global companies, per industry |
| Best-in-Class Emerging Markets Index | Top ~10% among the largest emerging-market companies, per industry |
| Yearbook — Top 1% / 5% / 10% | Industry-leading CSA scores, tiered by rank within your industry |
| Yearbook member | Near the top of your industry and close to the industry leader’s score |
Selection uses your CSA Score (the S&P Global ESG Score adds modeling on top — the two are not the same). A continuous Media & Stakeholder Analysis can adjust your score between annual cycles.
Thai issuers are among the strongest emerging-market performers in the CSA — which means the peer bar is high and every point of well-evidenced disclosure counts. We benchmark you against the companies you are actually ranked beside.
Points where your industry is measured.
Map to the industry questionnaire
The CSA is industry-specific — around half the criteria are the ones financially material to your sector. We map a materiality view to the questions that actually carry weight for you.
Participate, don’t just get scored
Non-participants are scored on public information only. Participating lets you submit evidence and references a public-only assessment never sees — often the fastest points on the table.
Evidence in English
The CSA rewards disclosed, referenced evidence. We build the policies, targets and documentation in investor-grade English from your Thai source material.
Manage the MSA
A Media & Stakeholder Analysis runs continuously and can cut your score between annual cycles. We help identify, manage and remediate controversies before they cost points.
Position for the index and Yearbook
We benchmark your score against the best-in-class threshold for your industry and target the specific moves that put index inclusion and a Yearbook place in reach.
Half the score is industry-specific.
Around half of the CSA’s criteria are the ones financially material to your sector, scored only on evidence you disclose and reference. Most Thai companies leave points on the table because that evidence is in Thai, unpublished, or not framed to the CSA’s industry questions. An ISO 17100 ESG-and-language bench closes that gap.
Industry-material focus
We map a materiality view to the sector-specific criteria that carry the most weight for your CSA industry — not a generic checklist.
Participate fully
Non-participants are scored on public data alone. We prepare the evidence and references a full participation submits — usually the fastest points available.
Scored in English
The CSA is assessed in English. We produce policies, targets and documentation in investor-grade English from your Thai reality.
MSA managed
A continuous Media & Stakeholder Analysis can cut your score outside the cycle. We help you identify and remediate controversies before they cost points.
One rating, reconciled
Your CSA story should match your FTSE, CDP and EcoVadis story. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across every rating you face.

01What is the CSA and the S&P Global ESG Score?+
The Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is S&P Global’s annual questionnaire-based evaluation, producing a 0–100 score that ranks you against your industry peers. The CSA Score drives index and Yearbook selection; the S&P Global ESG Score is the CSA Score with some additional modeling — related, but not the same number.
02What happened to the DJSI?+
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices were renamed the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices — announced in December 2024 and effective from February 2025. The selection mechanism is unchanged: the best CSA performers in each industry are included. The CSA and the Sustainability Yearbook keep their names.
03How do I get into the index or the Yearbook?+
Both are best-in-class: the Best-in-Class World and Emerging Markets indices take roughly the top 10% of the largest companies in each industry by CSA score, and the Yearbook recognises industry leaders in Top 1% / 5% / 10% tiers. We benchmark your score against your industry’s threshold and target the moves that close the gap.
04Should we participate, or let them score us on public data?+
You can be scored on public information without participating, but active participation lets you submit evidence and references a public-only assessment cannot see — usually the fastest way to raise the score. We prepare and manage that submission end to end.
05What is the MSA and why does it matter?+
The Media & Stakeholder Analysis is S&P Global’s continuous monitoring of controversies. A significant case can reduce your score outside the annual cycle, so managing and remediating controversies is part of protecting the rating — not just answering the questionnaire.
06Do you also handle FTSE, CDP and EcoVadis?+
Yes. The CSA is one of several ratings Thai companies face. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across all of them — see ratings & submissions, CDP และ EcoVadis — so your story reconciles wherever it is scored.
