From estimate to certificate

This is indicative. A TGO CFO label needs a verified inventory.

We build the ISO 14064-1 inventory, manage the TGO-registered verification, and turn the number into disclosure — in English and Thai. Send us your sites and reporting year for a fixed quote.

Indicative only. Factors shown are Thailand TGO CFO values (grid 0.4750 kgCO2e/kWh; refrigerant GWP per IPCC AR5) rounded for convenience — confirm full-precision, correct-year factors on the TGO portal for a certified inventory. Excludes Scope 3.

About this resource

From an estimate to a verified carbon footprint

This calculator produces an indicative Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse-gas footprint using Thailand’s current TGO emission factors — the same factor set behind the national Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) scheme. Enter your fuel, electricity and refrigerant consumption and you get a first number in tonnes of CO2-equivalent, split by scope, that you can sanity-check against peers before committing to a full inventory.

An estimate is the beginning, not the filing. Thailand’s ISSB-aligned TSRS rollout expects limited assurance on Scope 1 & 2 as disclosure phases in from the largest issuers — and accepts the TGO CFO method for the first five years, which makes TGO certification the natural first verification step for most Thai companies. TGO approves certifications in scheduled rounds (the remaining 2026 rounds fall in August, October and December), and the practical season runs Q4–Q1, ahead of the March One Report filing wave.

When the number needs to become a certified inventory — organisational boundaries set to ISO 14064-1, activity data collected, factors applied, verification arranged, and the result written into your 56-1 and sustainability report in both languages — that is the exact engagement our bench runs. See what the rules require on the Regulatory Tracker, or read the verification landscape in the 2026 flagship report — where our analysis of the full TGO registry found only ~21% of listed companies holding a current CFO certification.

Frequently asked questions

What does Othello’s CFO / GHG Calculator do?
It produces an indicative Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon footprint (Carbon Footprint for Organization) from basic activity data such as fuel and electricity use, using Thailand’s current TGO emission factors.
Are the results verification-ready?
No — they are indicative estimates for planning. An audit-ready CFO inventory requires full Scope 1·2·3 data collected to the GHG Protocol and TGO methodology, which Othello prepares for TGO certification and IFRS S2 / FTSE disclosure.
What emission factors does it use?
Thailand’s TGO (Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization) emission factors — the national dataset used for organizational carbon-footprint reporting in Thailand.
