From disclosure to the CDP A List.
An investor or a major customer has asked your company to disclose to CDP — the environmental disclosure platform that grades you from A to D− on climate, water and forests. Since 2024 it is one integrated questionnaire, scored in English against a published methodology. Othello prepares the full response and closes the gap between the level you disclose at and the level your performance deserves.

- 04Climate scenario analysis
- 05Third-party verification coordination
- 06Level-by-level improvement roadmap
Four levels, from disclosure to leadership.
CDP grades your response from A down to D− across four cumulative levels. You are assessed at Disclosure first and must clear each level’s Essential Criteria to climb — you cannot jump to Leadership. Since 2024 it is a single integrated questionnaire, aligned with IFRS S2, TCFD and ESRS, scored annually against a published methodology.
| Level | Bands | What it demonstrates |
|---|---|---|
| Leadership | A · A− | Best-practice actions and full transparency |
| Management | B · B− | Actions and processes that manage your impacts |
| Awareness | C · C− | Understanding your environmental risks and impacts |
| Disclosure | D · D− | The completeness of what you report |
| Did not disclose | F | Requested but no/insufficient response — not a performance grade |
CDP disclosure is request-driven, not a legal filing — triggered by investors (representing tens of trillions in assets) and by large customers through CDP’s supply-chain program. An administration fee applies to submit.

Thai issuers already reach CDP’s Leadership bands — for most companies the gap is evidence and language, not performance.
Climb a level every cycle.
Map your scorecard to the questionnaire
We read your current CDP scorecard against the integrated questionnaire’s modules and the Essential Criteria for the next level, so effort targets the points that actually move your grade.
Close the disclosure gaps — in English
CDP scores what you can evidence and publish. We build the missing governance, strategy, risk and policy responses in clear English from your Thai source material.
Targets and scenario analysis
Leadership points reward science-based targets and climate scenario analysis. We prepare SBTi-ready targets and the forward-looking analysis assessors expect.
Verify the numbers
We coordinate Scope 1, 2 and 3 accounting and the third-party verification that Leadership bands lean on — the measured carbon evidence behind the score.
Submit and climb
We assemble the response, submit before the scoring deadline, and leave a level-by-level roadmap — because CDP gates cumulatively and each annual cycle should climb.
Points are lost to evidence and language.
CDP scores only what you can evidence, in the language its assessors read. Most Thai companies already run the programs a good score rewards — they plateau because the evidence is in Thai, unpublished, or not framed to the questionnaire’s Essential Criteria. An ISO 17100 ESG-and-language bench closes exactly that gap.
กรอบการทำงาน aligned
The integrated questionnaire is aligned with IFRS S2, TCFD and ESRS. We answer to those frameworks so one disclosure effort serves CDP and your One Report.
Measured carbon
Leadership leans on verified Scope 1·2·3 numbers. We hold the TGO CFO/CFP credential and produce the GHG inventory behind the answers, not just the narrative.
Scored in English
Your response is graded in English. We write the governance, strategy and target evidence in investor-grade English from your Thai reality.
One rating, reconciled
Your CDP story should match your FTSE, EcoVadis and 56-1 story. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across every rating you face.
NDA from first email
Disclosure drafts and customer requests are confidential — handled by a 100% in-house Bangkok bench under NDA, never dispersed to freelancers.
Proof, not adjectives.
Othello is a Bangkok bilingual technical-translation and ESG-advisory firm founded in 2020 on US CDC and State Department work. The disclosure this page describes is delivered by the same in-house, ISO 17100-aligned bench — under NDA from the first email.
FTSE Russell ESG Score 4.0/5.0
The first FTSE Russell ESG result after the SET ESG transition announcement — secured under LSEG global methodology for a SET-listed healthcare operator. Our bench led the climate disclosure, GHG inventory, framework alignment and submission. The same methodology stack drives the 2026 disclosure cycle across every SET sector.

01What is a CDP score?+
CDP is an environmental disclosure platform. It grades your response from A (Leadership) down to D− (Disclosure) across four cumulative levels, on climate change, water security and forests. A company that is requested to disclose but does not respond — or gives insufficient information to be scored — is marked F, which signals non-disclosure, not poor environmental performance.
02Why is an investor or customer asking?+
CDP disclosure is voluntary but request-driven. Hundreds of investors representing tens of trillions of dollars, and hundreds of large buyers through CDP’s supply-chain program, request it from the companies they invest in or buy from. It is not a legal filing, but for a listed company or a supplier it is increasingly expected.
03How do I move from a D or C to an A?+
You climb one level at a time — Disclosure, Awareness, Management, Leadership — by meeting each level’s minimum score and its Essential Criteria. In practice that means fuller disclosure, evidence of management actions, science-based targets and scenario analysis, and third-party verification of your emissions. We map your scorecard to exactly those gates.
04Is it annual, and is there a fee?+
Yes — CDP runs an annual cycle (the questionnaire opens around mid-year and closes in the autumn) and scores against a methodology it publishes each year. CDP also charges an administration fee to submit; we confirm the current fee and tier for your company as part of scoping.
05Can you prepare the response in English?+
Yes — that is the core of the service. CDP is scored in English on documentary evidence, so we build the governance, strategy, risk, target and verification responses in English from your Thai source material and submit the complete questionnaire.
06Do you also handle EcoVadis, S&P CSA and FTSE?+
Yes. CDP is one of several ratings Thai companies face. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across all of them — see EcoVadis, ratings & submissions and our CDP disclosure guide — so your story reconciles wherever it is scored.
