ISSB Disclosure Training.
The official IFRS Foundation course on the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards — IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 — delivered in Thailand by Othello, a contracted ISSB Training Partner. Two days, built around how the Standards actually work, taught by an IFRS-certified trainer. Prepare your team before your first report is due.

About · ISSB Training Partner
An authorised provider of the ISSB Disclosure Training.
Othello ESG Consultant Co., Ltd. is a member of the ISSB Training Partner Programme and an authorised provider of the ISSB Disclosure Training. As an ISSB Training Partner, Othello delivers the official programme curriculum developed by the IFRS Foundation, the authors of the ISSB Standards, through trainers who have been assessed and certified by IFRS to deliver the programme. Licence ref. LIC-003644-TH.
One of only three — and the only one like this.
Thailand has only three ISSB Training Partners, and every one delivers the same official IFRS Foundation curriculum. What differs is who teaches it and what they can do for you once the class ends. Othello is the one built end-to-end for Thai listed companies.
The only bilingual ISSB Training Partner in Thailand
IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 are written in English, your 56-1 One Report is filed in Thai, and FTSE Russell and global investors read the English. Othello is the only Thailand ISSB Training Partner that is also an ISO 17100 bilingual ESG-disclosure firm — so the training connects directly to producing the English disclosure that actually gets read and scored.
Real carbon depth for the hardest topics
Scope 3 and GHG are the parts preparers struggle with most. At Othello they are taught by practitioners who build organisational and product carbon footprints every week — CFO and CFP under ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14067, with TGO frameworks — not by slide-readers.
A SET-listed track record
Othello is in the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s JUMP+ Advisory Pool and runs live IFRS S1/S2, FTSE-readiness and carbon engagements for listed companies, backed by KClimate and Zeroboard platforms and Bureau Veritas / TÜV NORD relationships. The training is grounded in real Thai listed-company disclosure, not theory.
Training that connects to delivery
Most providers stop at the classroom. Othello can take your team from the training to a verification-ready carbon inventory to a clause-mapped bilingual 56-1 One Report-S — the whole path, under one roof, when you are ready to prepare the real thing.
The Standards are here. The skills follow.
The rules are now live
On 28 October 2026 the SEC issued its ISSB-aligned disclosure rules and Form 56-1 One Report-S. SET50 companies must apply the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards from their FY2027 accounting year — first reports filed in 2028.
Investors read them
IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 produce the sustainability information that global investors, index providers such as FTSE Russell, and your board now expect. Getting the boundary and the scopes right starts with the people who prepare them.
Official, not interpreted
Othello delivers the IFRS Foundation’s own curriculum through a trainer assessed and certified by IFRS — a consistent, authoritative learning experience, not one firm’s reading of the Standards.
Who must report, and when.
The SEC has issued its ISSB-aligned disclosure rules and Form 56-1 One Report-S, phased in group by group on a climate-first basis.
| Listed group | First mandatory accounting year | First report filed |
|---|---|---|
| SET50 | FY2027 | 2028 |
| SET100 | FY2028 | 2029 |
| All remaining SET (incl. IPOs) | FY2029 | 2030 |
| mai + REIT / IFF / IFT / PF | FY2030 | 2031 |
Transition reliefs apply from each group’s first year: climate-first for five years, Scope 3 deferred for five years (Scope 1 and 2 only at first), TGO or equivalent GHG methods for five years, filing in the One Report-S within three months of the financial year-end, and comparatives waived in year one. Assurance has no relief — at least limited assurance of the GHG data is required from the first year.
What you’ll learn.
The programme follows the structure of the Standards — four core modules of official IFRS Foundation content, with every topic tied to a clear learning outcome and real application. Othello adds the two required supplements for Thailand.
Introduction to ISSB Standards
The purpose of the Standards, how to access and use them with their related materials, and the key design features of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2.
Scope and conceptual foundations
Identifying sustainability-related risks and opportunities, a four-step process for material information, and the conceptual foundations — reporting entity, fair presentation and connected information.
Core content — governance and strategy
The governance and strategy requirements in IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, plus a closer look at climate resilience and climate-related scenario analysis.
Core content — risk management, metrics and targets
Risk-management, metrics and targets requirements (including GHG emissions), and a closer look at Scope 3 greenhouse-gas emissions disclosures.
General requirements and judgements
Sources of guidance, location and timing of reporting, comparative information, significant judgements and uncertainties, and stating compliance and assuring disclosures.
Thailand regulation + Scope 3
The SEC’s ISSB adoption and Form 56-1 One Report-S, plus practical Scope 3 measurement and disclosure. Developed by Othello and clearly labelled — see the note below.
A working agenda.
The programme moves from the foundations to the hardest topics — governance and strategy on day one; risk, metrics, Scope 3 and the general requirements on day two; then the Thailand regulation and Scope 3 supplements. Trainers may adjust the running order to suit the cohort.
- Module 1 — Introduction to the ISSB Standards: purpose, how to use them, key design features
- Module 2 — Scope and conceptual foundations: identifying risks and opportunities, material information, reporting entity and fair presentation
- Module 3 (Part 1) — Core content: governance and strategy, plus climate resilience and scenario analysis
- Module 3 (Part 2) — Core content: risk management, metrics and targets, and a closer look at Scope 3 GHG disclosures
- Module 4 — General requirements, sources of guidance, judgements, uncertainties and errors, stating compliance and assurance
- Othello supplements — the SEC adoption and 56-1 One Report-S, and practical Scope 3, clearly labelled as our own content
