The Notarisation + Legalization Chain
Documents intended for use overseas usually need more than a signature. The typical sequence is: (1) certified translation into the required language, (2) notarial attestation by an NSA, (3) legalization by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and where required (4) authentication by the destination country’s embassy.
