A step-by-step guide to the MFA translation and certification process through our app.
1. Online Order
Begin by completing KYC verification through the Othello app. Upload a clear photo of your Passport or Thai ID card (including the latest visa page if applicable) and complete a facial scan to verify your identity and authorize the POA process.
2. Document Pick Up
We dispatch a messenger to collect your original documents and deliver the Power of Attorney (POA) form. Please prepare: original documents, 2 signed copies of your ID (passport or Thai ID card), 2 visa stamp copies. Sign the POA in blue ink with a witness signature.
3. Translation Process
Our in-house, native linguists complete the translation using a strict TEP process (Translation, Editing, Proofreading). All translations are 100% human, stamped, signed, and compliant with MFA standards.
4. Legalization Preparation
We compile the full set of required documents: certified translation, original files, POA, KYC documents, and MFA application forms, all professionally prepared for submission.
5. Submission to MFA
Othello handles the full submission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We guarantee acceptance of the documents. If the MFA requests changes, we will revise and resubmit at no additional cost until approval is secured.
6. Delivery of Legalized Documents
Once your documents are legalized, we arrange your marriage registration at the local district office. Othello can accompany or represent you to ensure the registration is completed properly.
7. Translation of Certificate
After the marriage is registered, your Thai marriage certificate is professionally translated into English (or your required language), ready for submission to foreign governments or embassies.
8. Submission to MFA
The translated marriage certificate and Thai original are submitted again to the MFA for legalization, making them valid for use abroad or with your home country's embassy.
9. Final Delivery of Documents
Once finalized, documents are delivered to you via EMS (2–3 business days nationwide), same-day messenger in Bangkok, or picked up in person. A digital copy is also sent to your email for convenience.
