FTSE Russell scores your English edition — not your Thai filing.
From 2026, the Stock Exchange of Thailand assesses every listed company with FTSE Russell ESG Scores — read from your public, English-readable disclosure, with no questionnaire. Your Thai 56-1 One Report satisfies the SEC. Your English edition is what earns the score. Most issuers still don’t know the difference.

A public exam, graded in English.
Unlike the retired SET ESG Ratings, there is no form to complete. FTSE Russell’s analysts assess what you have already published — the One Report, the sustainability report, the corporate website, press releases. Whatever exists in English is the evidence; whatever only exists in Thai, or is thinly translated, largely isn’t counted. The FTSE4Good Thailand Index (launched 6 July 2026) is built on exactly this scoring.
Two documents. Two different jobs.
Satisfies the regulator
- Meets the Thai SEC filing requirement
- Written for compliance, in Thai
- Not what FTSE Russell’s analysts read
- Perfect Thai, invisible to the score
Earns the score
- The artifact FTSE Russell actually assesses
- Must carry every indicator’s evidence, in English
- Where a mistranslated or missing term costs real points
- Where foreign investors and index inclusion are decided
When those two drift apart — a Scope figure that doesn’t reconcile, a governance disclosure that’s fuller in Thai than in English, a materiality term rendered loosely — the score follows the English edition. That drift is the single most common, most fixable reason a good Thai company under-scores.
We build the edition that gets read.
Othello is the only Thai firm that couples ISO 17100 certified translation with in-house ESG methodology (IFRS S2 / GRI / TGO / ISO 14064). We produce the English edition of your disclosure as a score-earning asset — clause-mapped to your Thai filing, terminology-locked to the frameworks, and calibrated to what each FTSE indicator looks for. Not translation after the fact; disclosure engineering.
Clause-Mapped Bilingual One Report
One engagement, two aligned filings — Thai for the SEC, English for the score.
