The EcoVadis rating your customers require.
A multinational buyer has asked your Thai company for an EcoVadis rating — a 0–100 sustainability score, assessed in English on the evidence you publish, that decides whether you stay on their approved-supplier list. Othello prepares the whole submission: we find where the points are, build the missing evidence, and write it the way a EcoVadis analyst scores it — the same bilingual discipline behind our FTSE and IFRS S2 work.
- 01Scorecard & gap diagnosis
- 02Policies to an assessor’s standard
- 03Quantified targets & KPI tables
- 04Management-system evidence
- 05Questionnaire completion (English)
- 06Reassessment & improvement roadmap
A rating built on evidence you publish.
EcoVadis is a documentary assessment — not an audit. Your score out of 100 is earned across 4 themes on a Policies → Actions → Results model: an analyst reviews the evidence you upload, screens external sources, and grades what you can actually show. The medal you may display depends on where that score ranks against every company EcoVadis has rated.
- 01Environment
- 02Labor & Human Rights
- 03Ethics
- 04Sustainable Procurement
21 sustainability criteria sit beneath the four themes — but only the ones relevant to your industry, size and country are activated, so two companies answer different questionnaires.
| Recognition | How it’s earned |
|---|---|
| Platinum | Top 1% of all rated companies |
| Gold | Top 5% |
| Silver | Top 15% |
| Bronze | Top 35% |
| Committed badge | Overall score of 45 or above |
| Fast Mover badge | Score 34–44 with a 6-point gain on your last assessment |
Medals are percentile-based — ranked against all rated companies — so the score behind each tier moves over time and there is no fixed pass mark. Any medal also needs a minimum of 30 in every theme. A scorecard is valid for 12 months.
Points are evidenced, not invented.
Read the request like an assessor
We start from your customer’s actual EcoVadis request and your scorecard, and map every point back to the four themes and their active criteria — so effort goes where the weighting actually is for a company your size, sector and country.
Close the evidence gaps
Most lost points are missing or unpublished evidence, not missing performance. We inventory what you already do, identify the policies, targets and documents an assessor expects, and build the ones you lack.
Write it in investor-grade English
EcoVadis is assessed in English on documentary evidence. We produce the policies, KPI tables and management-system descriptions in clear English from your Thai reality — the same bilingual discipline behind our FTSE work.
Assemble and submit the dossier
We organise the evidence against each criterion, label it the way the platform expects, and complete the questionnaire so nothing an analyst looks for is buried or absent.
Improve for the next cycle
A scorecard lasts a year. We leave you a prioritised roadmap — the two or three moves that lift the next assessment most — so each reassessment climbs the ladder.
A global platform, scored in English.
EcoVadis rewards documented evidence written in a language its analysts read. Most Thai companies already do the work — they lose points because the evidence is in Thai, unpublished, or not framed the way the platform expects. That gap is exactly what an ISO 17100 ESG-and-language bench closes.
Evidence, not adjectives
We turn what you already do into the policies, targets and documents an analyst can score — the single biggest source of missed points.
Scored in English
Your evidence is graded in English. We produce it in clear, investor-grade English from your Thai reality, so nothing is lost in translation at the moment it is scored.
Certifications that count
Recognised certifications lift specific criteria — ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, SA8000, a GRI-aligned report, a supplier code of conduct. We map which ones actually move your themes and build the evidence around them.
One rating, reconciled
Your EcoVadis story should match your FTSE, CDP and 56-1 story. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across every rating you face.
NDA from first email
Supplier scorecards and customer contracts are confidential. Everything is handled by a 100% in-house Bangkok bench under NDA — never dispersed to freelancers.
Proof, not adjectives.

01What is an EcoVadis rating?+
EcoVadis is a business-sustainability rating platform. An analyst scores your company from 0 to 100 on documentary evidence across 4 themes — Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement — and, where your score ranks high enough, awards a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum medal. It is an assessment of the evidence you can show, not an on-site audit, and it is not a “certification”.
02Why is my customer asking for it?+
Large multinationals use EcoVadis to screen and monitor their suppliers on ESG, so the request usually comes from procurement rather than a regulator — which makes the deadline commercial and real. Whole industry programs are built on it: chemical buyers request it through Together for Sustainability, beauty houses through the Responsible Beauty Initiative. A rating is increasingly a condition of staying on an approved-vendor list.
03What score do I need for a medal?+
Medals are awarded by percentile — how your score ranks against all rated companies — not by a fixed pass mark, and EcoVadis has raised the bar as more companies are assessed: Platinum, Top 1%; Gold, Top 5%; Silver, Top 15%; Bronze, Top 35%. Any medal also needs at least 30 in every theme. Below medal level there are two badges — Committed (overall score of 45 or above) and Fast Mover (score 34–44 with a 6-point gain on your last assessment). We target the recognition your customer actually requires.
04How long does a rating last?+
An EcoVadis scorecard, medal and badge are valid for 12 months, after which you are reassessed. Because the assessment repeats every year, we build your evidence base so each cycle is easier and your score can climb rather than reset.
05Can you complete the assessment in English for us?+
Yes — that is the core of the service. EcoVadis is assessed in English on documentary evidence, so we prepare the policies, KPI tables and questionnaire responses in English from your Thai source material, then assemble and label the evidence the way the platform expects.
06Do you also handle CDP, S&P CSA and FTSE?+
Yes. EcoVadis is one of several ratings Thai companies now face. We keep one coherent set of ESG facts across all of them — see ratings & submissions and FTSE English disclosure — so your story reconciles wherever it is scored.
